PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Product is goat affinity purified F(ab')2 fragments to human IgG Fc and buffer salts. The affinity purified F(ab')2 fragment is prepared from the specific goat IgG fraction by limited digestion with pepsin and solid phase absorption. The resulting affinity purified F(ab')2 fragment is dialyzed into 0.02M sodium phosphate, 0.14M sodium chloride, pH 7.3, adjusted to standard titer, filtered through a 0.22 µm filter, and vialed.

: The total protein is measured by absorbance (A280nm). Antibody titer is standardized by equivalence-point precipitation. Each affinity purified F(ab')2 fragment is tested for purity at 10 mg/ml using immunoelectrophoresis. The product is goat F(ab')2; no trace of albumin; whole molecule IgG or Fc is detected. It shows reactivity to human IgG and Fc; cross-reactivity to other species may exist. Antibody activity to human Fab; F(ab')2; IgM; IgA or non-immunoglobulin serum proteins is not present.
