Goat affinity purified antibody to rat IgG (whole molecule) is goat affinity purified antibody to rat IgG (whole molecule) and buffer salts.
Application Notes
Goat affinity purified antibody to rat IgG (whole molecule) is used in immunostaining of acetone-fixed frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. This product is suitable for use as a precipitating antibody. It gives sharp precipitin lines in immunoelectrophoresis and immunodiffusion techniques. This product is suitable for conjugation with enzymes, radiolabels, fluorochromes or other markers, and for attachment to solid supports for use as an immunoadsorbant. This product is suitable for use as a primary reagent in enzyme immunoassays, fluorescein immunoassays and blot, cell or tissue immunostaining. These affinity purified antibodies are recommended to avoid non-specific binding from the inherent antibodies of host animals. Note: F(ab')2 fragments are recommended for staining of cells or tissues which contain Fc receptors.

Preparation Method
: The affinity purified antibody is prepared from the specific goat IgG fraction by solid phase absorption. The resulting affinity purified antibody is dialyzed into 0.02M sodium phosphate, 0.14M sodium chloride, pH 7.3, adjusted to standard titer, filtered through a 0.22 µm filter, and vialed. No preservative has been added.

Specificity
: It shows reactivity to rat IgG; cross-reactivity to other species may exist. Because the product is directed against whole IgG; some antibodies are expected to bind light chain sites common to all immunoglobulins. Antibody activity to non-immunoglobulin serum proteins is not present.

: Dilution: 1:50 (Indirect method, 60 minute incubation). Note: With a normal ABC method the dilution can be 5-10 times higher
